Egg Free Cake Box - Merry Hill

I'm a regular and various cake box stores. But I will not be attending this branch again. I purchased 2 slices of cake a few months ago and both were old. The cake had gone hard and the cream was not soft. Today, I purchased two slices again, and the same. The chocolate on top (kit kat) was stale, and the cream was rubber like. The cake was hard around the edges and the cake tasted old. It's sad, because I love cake box. I will avoid this stall now.

Visited the stall at MHSC today with my wife for some cakes and bought 6 huge slices instead of the 3 we were contemplating. Cakes looked lovely just waiting for the kids to get back before we devour them with tea. Lovely member of staff a young lady I think her name was Sidra I'm not sure, she was wearing a hijab. Helped us with our selection of cakes. Well done, I hope they taste as good as they look.
