A review of the beer, not the pub. Had 2 pints of bitter in the unicorn in wollaston last night, horrendous headache the following morning. Bathams bitter at its best is a good pint, but the brewery is just too inconsistent. Last nights beer was heavy, clunky and overpowering. Ive accepted that over the years, but nowadays there are so many superior pints around (wye valley HPA, Enville, butty bach, three tuns, especially at the red lion amblecote) that its getting harder to overlook bathams bitter on its bad days.

Sorry but after 51 years of drinking in the bull, new year eves beer was one of the worst ever couldn't drink it .
