New Years Eve getaway 2022/23 with the family (x10). A lovely very large house with masses of room, an excellent place for entertaining and celebrating the New Year in with all the family. Very well equipped property and ample parking. The only reason I gave this property 4 stars and not 5 is that the guttering on the rear of the property was blocked and overflowing on to the plastic conservatory roof and made it unbearable to sit under, which meant we could not use the dining room at all because of the noise, even when it wasn't raining that much it still continued to leak onto the roof. Our older parents found it very noisy at night as this leak was right next to there bedroom window and was almost like someone continuously throwing stones at the glass all night so got very little sleep. Was very disappointed to find out that this issue was raised back in November by the owners and still nothing had been rectified, and even said in the book 'hope this does not effect your stay???'. This needs to now be made a priority and fixed before we stay again.
