Great Tour Now there are "brewery tours" that are basically the brewer quickly explaining their expanded home brew process, so now for a tester and then there's a full on old brewery, like Palmers. Here for a full hour and 1/2, you are taken around an original multi floor and old equipment, brewery, all fully and passionately explained. Follow by plenty (yes plenty) of time to drink and try Palmers great range of beers. Again undertaken and served with passion.

We went for a brewery tour at Palmers yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were the only ones on this tour and so had the undivided attention of our guide who was very knowledgeable and good fun. He made the tour come alive. This was followed by a very generous tasting session and we were given two glasses to take home too. Would highly recommend for a great afternoon trip.

The tour of the brewery was excellent. We were taken around by the very friendly, candid and knowledgeable Dave (I hope I've got your name right!!) a few days before Christmas. It ended with a very welcome tasting. The brewery dates from the late 18th century and is steeped in local social history- fascinating.
