Brilliant service from Manager Kelly Moore. She is very helpful & friendly when I chose some helium filled balloons for my Christmas party. She gave me ideas & everything was ready to be picked up on time. She's really a star & deserves a pay rise! Three days later the balloons are still going strong. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible place to work, From a patronising and rude manager, to a backstabbing sales assistant, to a fire hazard in the back with tons of objects going up the stairs. environmental health would have a field day here. Worst place I have ever worked, Oh, and the manager told me I stink in front of a customer and didnt even get dismissed for it. That's the kind of company you get at Card Factory. This left me depressed and feel worthless, as the company seemed to have found it acceptable. I was also taken upstairs first, as the manager pointed at deodorant. The way it was handled was appalling, and the main fact here is I did not smell. I've worked in many places for many years and never told this. I'm a respectable, clean person. However, a lady also worked here who also left and said to my mum it was due to the manager, so it seems to be a frequent thing with the manager. Not sure why it takes such hard work for a company to do the right thing though, but that's mostly due to people you know. Friends of friends, etc. Even more shockingly, I was asked each day to empty my pockets? There was no valid reason for doing this and I feel this was discrimination and I still might take it further yet. Stay well clear of this store.
