These electricity meters take your 1 coins- even though you have paid for your stay- and go into the owners pockets as a nice extra (the rate is set by the owners)
Its a real shame as the apartment was nice, if a little tired, however ruined by the greedy owners.
I would not recommend this accommodation purely for this reason, as it also breaches UK law (as coin operated meters were banned in 2006)
The communal areas also smell of cigarette smoke- as the owners allow smoking in the inner porch
The owners also provide no towels, so ensure you take these with you- something else they didnt put in the description
