Honestly I don't know where to start. Its a disgrace how a shop like this can stay open and continue to sell faulty products to innocent residents. My mother came to Bridlington (on holiday) and visited ''The Emporium'' only to be bombarded the minute she walked through the door by a unpleasant women (if that's what she calls herself). My mother who is 79 by the way only wanted to browse around the shop but felt she couldn't while the women was stood shouting at her about products she wasn't interested in. After being in the shop for almost 15 minutes the owner tried selling my mother a hoover for 200 and wouldn't take no as an answer. my mother walked away with a duvet set which contained no pillow cases, A wall clock which didn't work and a pedal bin which was cracked and pedal didn't work. ( she managed to leave without spending 200 on a hoover). I am disgraced how anyone could rip off not only an old person but any person. I have tried communicating with the shop only to be told the items wasn't faulty before leaving the shop and I'm a liar. Once finished speaking to the women I was then verbally abused by a gentleman. please avoid to save yourself money and stress.

Well what can I say my mum got my little boy the crayola shelf unit and I went to build and found a piece missing off one of the corners!!! My mum messaged to explain and was told that it wasnt like that when they received it and was checked before it left the shop!!!! Well I can say it wasnt checked in front of my Mum so when was it checked... I dont think it was. Now my mum is being called a liar... always check what you purchase before leaving the shop....

Excellent shop always helpful and pleasant. I have bought a couple of shelving units and am very happy with them.
