The staff have always been great and it is a shop where you pay for what you get... I've never needed to take anything back for faults and if I bought something the wrong size, I gave it charity shop.
As I live in London and travel up to see family, I often just buy stuff here rather than bring luggage.
I do miss the more stylish stuff though from before 2015. Peacocks does have potential to still carry a few lines suitable for 25 to 40s who want a nice shirt or T-shirt rather than plain or safe pattern.
