Dave Allott Guitar Tuition

Dave was recommended to us for guitar lessons. Dave has been teaching my son for over 3 years (both face to face in his well equipped studio and online during Covid). Dave not only has years of experience and knowledge but lots of patience too. I would highly recommend Dave for lessons.

Great place to learn to play music. Dave really knows his way around multiple instruments and is extremely patient with newcomers! Would happily (and already have) recommend him to my friends who are wanting to learn to play the guitar.

Ive decided to learn guitar at 51 and I went to see Dave based on these reviews, and Im so glad I did. Dave is very knowledgeable, a really pleasant guy thats easy to get along with, and he has bags of patience. As a complete beginner Ive found Dave has the ability to explain everything in easy bite size chunks, and after only a few weeks, the individual notes I was playing are now sounding like actual music. I cant believe the progress in a few short weeks. The Rock School syllabus is good and as Dave will also teach you the music you like as well, it makes for great lessons. 100% recommended.

Having owned an accoustic guitar for many years i only ever managed basic chords, like really basic but picking up my guitar during lockdown and realising i needed to progress i went for a 30 minuite taster sesion with Dave and realised he could teach me so much and he has. From only ever playing in my bedroom to actually atending open mic events, Dave even came with me the first time because i was so nervous. He has taught me things that i never thought i would be able to do and i can not thank him enough. I recommend Dave to anyone regardless of age or ability you will not be disappointed
