This was a really good practice .Now its impossible to get to see a gp. Also you have to wait ages to get a phone call answered .Why did they have to take on all these extra patients at the expense of those of us already there.

Former practice one paitent.Twice in 5 months this practice has not followed up when they have been sent letters from consultants regarding my treatment. . First regarding blood pressure that they did not act on. Then 3 months later it's established I did indeed have high blood pressure. Next a letter sent to them from a respiratory consultant in the letter the consultant advised them to refer me for further investigation. Over two weeks has past and upon checking my records online I couldn't see any refferal. Rang them on 11/4/23 to see if it had been done. The receptionist apologiesd and said it appears the Dr had not actioned the refferal. So if I had not chased this up it would not have been done. Had an appointment today for a lump on my left hand side. Dr was totally uninterested and did not even examine it. Mutters something about physio and that was it. Total waste of my time. It seems pot luck who you see so no continuity of treatment. Can only seem to book appointments on the day not in advance. Rang once was 10th in the queue for around 20 minutes ended up visiting and the place was totally empty at 5.30pm. Whilst I spoke with the receptionist I still had call connected and remained 10th in the queue. Definitely got worse since the merger .
