Bessingby Holiday Cottages

Been coming here for several years now (often twice a year). An absolute gem with very friendly hosts and a very quiet location just on the edge of Brid. Excellent base for visiting this side of Yorkshire or just chilling out. Highly recommend (but obviously don't pick the weeks we want ). A good day out (if you don't mind getting up early) is to get the steam train on NYMR from Pickering to Whitby. Oh, and not forgetting RSPB Bempton Cliffs which is nearby.

If you want relaxation just away from the crowds in Bridlington. This is the place for you. Great hosts too

Absolutely love this place ,our tenth visit. Peaceful relaxing location ,but only short drive to nearest supermarket etc. Ten minutes to Bridlington town centre and attractions. The owners are a delight couple ,who have thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The cottages are immaculate, clean tidy, comfortable with everything g you need for self catering.

We have just returned from our stay at Shepherd's cottage, we were very sad to leave. It's one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in as a family of 5. Jan & Andrew had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The cottage was large enough for our 2yr old grandson to run about & play. The garden is heavenly, it has a small woodland area, a play area with swing, slide, seasaw, goal posts & plenty of places to sit & enjoy the birdsong. We will definitely return.
