He says "oh, the system is broken, could you come back tomorrow morning?".
Unfortunately no, I can't come back, and it's clear that he did not have training to do returns, which is very misleading and inconvenient.
It's sometimes more admirable to admit you don't know how to do something, rather than lie about it, that would not lead to a bad review.
Poor customer service.
