I have recently visited My Dentist on 2 separate occasions. The first was an emergency appointment through 111 My appointment was with Alexandra, she was absolutely brilliant. She wasn't sure if my tooth could be saved. Alexandra advised it would be 50/50 but she managed to save the tooth, which I was very happy about and more importantly pain free. I was so happy with the treatment I received from Alexandra and the dental nurse that I also booked an appointment for a clean and polish, again with Alexandra and I am so happy with the end result that I have booked a 3rd appointment for further treatment. Alexandra is a credit to your your practice. I must also say that the reception staff are absolutely lovely always smiling and happy to help.

Like previous reviewers I too found out today that myself and my partner have been removed from the NHS list with no prior written warning. Having read the what seems like the standard practice response that is up to the patient to remember that there is a arbitrary 2 year no show time limit I feel that the practice should have some kind of system in place to send a final warning, as sometimes life and circumstances can run away with you and if you have no issues with your teeth then booking a dentist appointment maybe something that escapes your mind so a gentle reminder would have been extremely beneficial! The other disappointing thing was that having been told we were no longer entitled to NHS treatment we were eligible to receive private treatment a check up for 43 which we were willing to pay before we were told wed have to pay before we made the appointment!! It seems that dentists are now all about making money by removing NHS patients from their lists without warning so they can then make them use private more expensive treatments as they have no alternative. A simple final appointment warning along with the clear message that you will be removed from the NHS list if you dont make it would fix this issue but it seems its not what this practice really wants to do , they just pass the responsibility onto patients
