The Toy Emporium

The shop looked great from outside unfortunately I dont think the owner wanted us in (perhaps because we didnt have masks with us). My little boy was dying to go in as he loves cars. The displays in the window looked great so we were happy for him to go and get something. We were asked if we could wait outside whilst the man inside finished. Fine except we stood there for 5-10 mins before the owner said to my partner perhaps he'd like to go and get a drink as this guy spends a lot when he comes but takes ages. In the meantime he let a couple of other men in wearing masks. I feel this was just something said as he didnt want our trade otherwise why did he not say this in the first place. I think the owner perhaps thought we weren't going to spend enough for him to bother. Very disappointed 4 year old.

As a model train addict I was fascinated by this unusual toy shop and found a wonderful gift for my grand daughter's christening - with excellent service from the helpful owner. Highly recommend a visit.

Been buying from the toy emporium for many years, was gutted when it disappeared but excited to see it back and busy. Know where to come for my models again now. Thank you
