From the first visit, Jack offered sensible advice on how to solve some electrical problems and we were impressed by his positive and professional attitude. These projects are so much easier when your builders are like J.R. Construction - they turned up on time, worked with enthusiasm, delivered a great result and cleaned up after themselves, all with a cheerful smile. We cannot speak highly enough of Jack and his team; After consulting with several other building firms we made our choice and truthfully we havent once looked back. Honest, enthusiastic and skilled tradespeople are an increasingly rare breed but it was clear from day one that we had made the right choice of contractor for our rear extension and bathroom renovation, it felt like Jack had experience well beyond his years. Were within a conservation of Shrewsbury which made things slightly more complicated and access was challenging but every part of the build was executed with diligence, skill, patience and interest and their expertise really shone through when a steer in the right direction was needed. If you are looking for a builder who will collaborate with you and genuinely be vested in the project then look no further. Jack, Russ, Dan and Tom have done a fantastic job with our kitchen refurb. They work their socks off and approach the work with diligence, care and a great attention to detail. Our job involved ripping down a wall, prepping and tiling the floor, plastering, wall tiling, and fitting a kitchen, all in a barn conversion where nothing is simple or straightforward. Jack and the team approached every day of work with energy and enthusiasm, and above all with an obvious care for doing the job properly and ending up with a refurb that both looks fantastic and will last a long time. Theyre exactly the kind of builders we wanted to work with - really nice guys, highly skilled, and care about the standard of work theyre doing. Massively, massively recommend. We will have them back for future work without hesitation. Jack and his team undertook a small project to redesign the front of our property with the installation of a new front door and windows and the creation of an office space. Jack was helpful from the outset with his thoughts about the works and had some great ideas about how to create our vision. His team and he were courteous and professional throughout and it was clear that they took pride in their work.
