Came to celebrate a birthday. Food was nice but the prices are way over the top. Charging literally extortionate prices for plates of pasta. Cheaper prices in central london. There was no entertainment on a Friday night, which we thought might be the reason for higher prices of food. Decor and interior was okay but overall pretty dark. Staff are okay. Not worth the bill we paid.

Food was ok nothing special ...they add on a compulsory 30 service charge for no reason...isnt it a waiters job to hand out the menus and serve the food?? Paid 300 for 3 ppl and food was nothing spectacular. I ordered a sea bass on a rather watered spinach leaves u undercooked and had 3/4 tiny small roast potatoes...very dry fish and the pasta was very bland. I wont be goin here again to flush money dwn a drain. Ambiance was so dark needed a torch to see the menu and to see the food. Music was a little too loud as you want to eat dinner peacefully. Go here if u want to waste your money.

I recently dined at Melin Restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite being assured of a live DJ and entertainment for my group of 10 on a Friday night, there was no such thing. The music that was played was subpar and felt like I was shopping in a mall. The food was below average and overpriced for the small portions. Upon voicing my concerns to the manager, I was met with sarcasm and no apology. I learned that the live DJ&entertainment was no longer offered due to customer complaints about the noise level, but I wish I had been informed beforehand. My birthday celebration was ruined by this terrible experience and I regret choosing Melin Restaurant. The unfriendly staff only further proved that this restaurant is not deserving of any customers. Avoid this place and save yourself the disappointment.
