I won't be reinsuring with So-sure. Their service, which is totally outsourced is an embarrassment. - Suppliers repaired the phone inadequately (pinch zoom broken and touch sensitivity was off), which took two weeks - Sent back to fix and was sent home saying "everything works fine" when plainly it doesn't - Trying to obtain a new repair now being held up by their claims handler, Davies Group. They took 8 days to reply to an email. Finally reached over the phone and the message was "we are taking 5 days to reply to emails". Basically you can't have a conversation with them. Each time I have started the claim or initiated a re-repair, the process takes weeks. Absolutely appalling service.

Cheaper by a country mile! There was a small technical error with regards to me not being able to access the app to verify the condition of my phone but I contacted customer services and they got back to me within a couple of hours (which is pretty much par for the course nowadays) Hollie was super helpful in resolving the issue and allowing me to verify the condition of my phone via email (and reduce my excess by 100!) If you're wanting an insurance company that you can call up on the phone (not actually sure they exist anymore ) then maybe look elsewhere but if you don't mind communication via the app or email to resolve issues and claims (and want to save 00's of pounds) then this is the company for you!
