An absolute gem! Cant recommend Weeke Barton more highly! Stunning location - perfect for walking or just lazy days in the stunning gardens. Jo and Sam have created a very special place to share with their guests; a perfect balance of luxury yet welcoming and relaxed. Food was delicious; love the honesty bar and breakfast simply the best way to start your day. I loved the balance of feeling welcomed yet not at all intrusive through well thought through and considered approach. We will definitely return and have already told our friends! Superb!

what a lovely stay we just had at Weeke Barton. We booked a 3 night break some months ago. Communication brilliant from Jo in terms of what to expect & directions to arrive were brilliant & detailed with excellent recommendations for food & drink. Loved the remoteness of it but still easy to get back to A38 to explore or drive onto the Moors. Room was stunning, breakfast was amazing & the honesty bar was most welcome. A warming fire was lit every afternoon which was just what we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here (and you can purchase the delicious homemade Granola).

Words cannot describe what a wonderful two nights stay we had at Weeke Barton. The hotel is tucked away in peaceful countryside with walks on the doorstep. It is easy to get back to main roads to explore further afield. The hotel grounds are simply stunning, Jet loved running round and exploring. As soon as we were greeted by and welcomed in by Sam, we knew instantly we'd found a gem and that we would want to stay again. Jo and Sam have respected the age and character of the building, but included hints of contemporary decor which work so amazingly well together. All areas of the house are well thought out and decorated. The honesty bar is a wonderful idea which brought us together with other guests, chatting the evenings away. The log burners are a welcome cosy addition to the evening. The bedrooms are beautiful. The beds were incredible - felt like we melted into them when we got in. The comfort of guests is clearly important. The refillable bathroom products are a fabulous touch too. We were quite hot in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open. Breakfast ran seamlessly, ordering by SMS 10 minutes before heading to the dining room. The dinner on Friday night was delectable - we would've eaten on the Saturday night too if it were available! We loved the use local produce. Jo and Sam are fountains of knowledge, helping to plan walks and day trips based on what we wanted to see/do. We feel so lucky to have found and stayed at Weeke Barton. It is not often you find such a boutique, high standard, dog friendly hotel. We will certainly be back! Thank you so much Sam & Jo! You should be extremely proud of Weeke Barton.
