        We returned to Tallentire Hall again for October half term and had another fantastic stay. Ann and Martin were really helpful as usual and provided ideas of places to visit with the children and resolved a couple of minor issues really quickly. The girls loved the chocolate Brownie welcome gift. Thanks for another super stay hope to be back again soon!

        First class stay again at Gardeners cottage.Tallentire hall.Perfect equipped cottage just right for my wife and I for relaxing in peaceful surroundings but ideal for a walking break. The hosts Ann and martin once again provided everything we needed. The only problem for some couples is that the bathroom is downstairs[Excellent shower and piping hot water],while the bedroom is upstairs and quite steep steps. Stayed19th August to 26th August 2022.

        We had a lovely stay in the Hayloft. Very dog friendly, lovely grounds and so peaceful. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and at the same time homely. Everything you need including dog throws and blankets. The owners are there if you need any help or queries but they leave you to it also. We will certainly visit again. Thanks so much.

        Spent a lovely week at Gamekeepers Cottage which is decorated and furnished to an excellent standard. Every detail has been thought of. The cottage is located in a great spot - just a short drive into Cockermouth and to walks in the North Western Fells. Highly recommended. Also just a short stroll down the road to the Bush Inn - a quiet local serving real ales and Coca Cola in glass bottles for the children.
