        My son and daighter in law got married at Sandhole Oak Barn and it was absolutely wonderful, however most of the wedding party stayed at the B&B after the wedding and the B&B was less than satisfactory. The beds were not comfortable, the shower backed up and spilled over the pan, there were cockroaches in the room, the comforter was soiled and the breakfast after the wedding was extremely sub-par. For the rate of 140 quid a night the B&B needs a lot of improvement.

        I attended this place for a wedding. The venue is excellent. It's a bit far from Central Manchester, but the scenery is beautiful. There were a fair number of rooms and the staff are all very friendly. The venue hall itself is a good size. And the owners accommodated for all sorts of requests from the wedding party. Some advice, if you like a quiet room when you sleep then go upstairs. Many "friends" like to stomp their feet...
