Horrible run down place. Washing machines need to be cleaned and are to over priced. The box where the soap powder and softener go are rancid. Needs to be cleaned and have the floor tiles replaced or cleaned. Money gets stuck to. Not a place I would use again. Cheating business

Despite its run down appearance, only three washers were not working due to customer abuse. Repairs are under way and the affected machines are waiting for spare parts. The owners are a great couple that live above the laundromat and are really pleased to assist us. Please bear in mind that the machines ONLY take coins in 2,1, 50p and 20p denominations. So bring change. Most of the shops around there don't like changing "notes" to coins. There are 4 parking spaces on the road outside which are currently free to use, so are in high demand. Paid for parking is available just up the road. Seating is available for customers to wait for their wash to finish. There are industrial tumble dryers available but like most things, are very expensive... Oh, bring your own wash powder/liquids, as many people forget to bring it... The owners may provide it at a cost. But I am not 100% sure if that.. ask! Definitely value for money, and a godsend if you need to wash a quilt. Currently the BIG mega washing machine is out of order, but the one next to it has washed our king-size 13tog quilt happily. And we dried it for under a tenner in all. The owners do not recommend putting a mega huge quilt in the smaller machine as it may not wash properly. Please wait until the 22kg machine is fixed. Other than that, I am very pleased with my visit.
