Brentwood Recycling Centre

It scrapes a 3 star cos of friendly staff, but it's poorly designed. Fancy having to lug heavy items up wobbly stairs..you can't hold onto handrails if your arms are full. Other "recycling" centres have the skips LOWER than the road/walkways. Also, the yard needs to be swept more often....those horrid screws falling out of furniture being dragged to the stairs are perfect for giving you punctured tyres.

I found the staff very polite & helpful The yard was clean and tidy, and I'm liking this new booking method.. As no more of long queues, and trying to find a place to park your car. Easy to walk around and less of bumping into people... Definitely a

As long as you dont take liberties and abide by the rules then this is the place to dispose of your unwanted items. Glad to see that a booking process will come into play as from the 13th March 2023. This will help to keep the public from other areas away from this site which is quite rightly for the use of local residents only however, I fear we will see an increase in fly tipping around our beautiful countryside.
