William Hunter Way Car Park

Getting in and out without a scratching the wheels would be challenge for bigger modern cars due to very narrow entry and exits. There is free parking for some time if you use the machine, but when I tried through the app, it always charges, I dont know why. But very convenient location.

Terrible layout for both entering/exiting, has been for years. Half the car park is still un-tarmacd which is bizarre given its the main park for the high street. Reasonably enough priced however doesnt promote shopping locally if Sainsburys is free? (Next door) Not suitable for larger vehicles as turning areas/spaces are very small.

This is my favourite place to park when I visit Brentwood. There is always space to park, the prices are great. 24 hours parking for 8, also there are a range of ways to pay (phone/app/cash/card) which makes it a lot easier and more flexible. I usually use the app to make payments, I have also done it by phone, both times worked great and I received a receipt via text message.

Sizeable car park but in this day and age to not have contactless payment is not acceptable. To pay via app comes with additional charges.
