Tried to donate furniture. They told us they would take it all, had seen photos, but really only wanted the expensive stuff (chesterfield sofa). False pretences. The collection chaps left us with the stuff they didnt have room for on the day of collection. Also didnt tell us stuff had to be dismantled. They Definitely intended to only take the sofa and matching chairs (she wants the sofa) - but we wouldnt have agreed if we had known wed be left with so much stuff 4 days from a house sale when we live 100 miles away. As it happens, there was no fire label, so they couldnt take it anyway. Id have left it all on the drive in the first place and not bothered to go up at the time they said if Id known what it would have been like. Didnt like their manner on the phone or attitude - and I work with charities so know what makes a successful reputation. Very disappointing and wont be supporting from now on. The collection chaps were polite and helpful considering it sounded like they had this all the time.

I have been in this store numerous times and looking at a review before have never once had rude staff. I have shopped there and have donated, am not able to carry heavy goods so donate at back of shop. In opening hours, please don't just dump things. . I have always found the staff in this branch very, very helpful. And maybe the person who was complaining should have abit more consideration for volunteering and maybe to much time on there hand give it ago themselves
