We instructed LDN Leadwork to appraise the roof of our building and provide quotes and estimates to repair, replace and restore each aspect individually, in order to make an informed decision. The initial communication was actually very good and quotes were provided within 5 working days. Great! However... despite our initial satisfaction, once we had paid 50% upfront to commence works and pay for materials, it all started to unravel. Jay and his team failed to show up for TWO WEEKS and he had conveniently turned his phone off. After several days of calling, emailing and texting they turned up and started what had been paid for and promised, albeit they seemed to be intoxicated. The works commenced and the wheels seemed to be set in motion and were making ground. But no, Jay and his team went AWOL again! If we had known then what we know now, we would have opted for one of the more expensive quotes as we had received several. Alas, we are now 26 weeks on and we have a half completed roof with water dripping through the ceiling and we have had to instruct an alternative roofing company to finish the job. I am not one to leave a scathing review of someone's business but we just don't want others to experience the same trauma that we have. It has caused undue distress on our marriage and we are seeking counselling. We are also having to pay legal costs in order to recover funds from this so called 'roofing company'. Please do not use. I have recently had my roof fixed by jay and his team, they was extremely professional and explained everything that needed doing. Jay himself quoted me a great price. I can genuinely say my experience with this company was very pleasant. I would recommend to a friend. Thank you
