I just bought two medium cod & chips.
When I got home, the fish was huge and hung over the edges of the plates. There was hardly enough room on for the very generous portions of crispy chips
Seriously, it's worth every penny.
Cooked fresh in front of me, batter was just right, thick fillets of flaky cod (not 12mm like a certain place in Shenfield) that slid away at a touch. Wedge style chips that were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.
Tommy Tuckers is now our go-to place for a lovely cod & chips meal.
