Tile House Surgery

Very good practice. The doctors and nurses really care about the patients and I have found the service extremely good, especially when needing an emergency appointment. Lovely receptionists.

Nightmare to get an appointment, Ive found the doctors to be rude and arrogant and the staff make simple mistakes. I had no choice but to leave and Ive found the surgery across the road much better

Sorry to say that this surgery appears to be still hiding behind the Covid precautions. Impossible to get even a phone appointment without a 2 week delay....no wonder the A & E departments are rammed. The recorded message is more threatening than welcoming. Compared to reports from folk using other Brentwood surgeries I would say that Tile House is the least concerned about its patients.

Phone calls take a long time to pick up. Today I called and was told by the nurse practitioner that she will approve my grandmothers prescription by good will as I have left it late my grandmother has about 5% heart function and has been on and off palliative care so I really do not expect to hear this especially when her prescription is often refused because I have requested medication too early. The nursing manager actually remembered my grandmothers name so said this irrespective of knowing of her condition. On a separate occasion I called for a prescription and a nurse told me that I will have to wait until the next day as she has so many prescriptions to sort through. I will be requesting tablets are sent out automatically when they run out because just like the extremely busy Nurse practitioners working here our time is also precious. When people are dependent on medication to survive please stop making them feel like they have to beg. My grandmothers doctor is fantastic, personable and takes a real interest in her condition otherwise I would be leaving this surgery 1 star review.

I phoned for an appointment yesterday morning, ok I took me a while to get on to the list of 10 waiting, but this isnt the fault of the surgery, just high demand on their services. Once through to the receptionist I was dealt with politely and efficiently. I briefly explained why I needed an appointment, and without hesitation I was offered a face to face appointment the same morning. My visit to the surgery went very smoothly, I was seen on time by the ever efficient Dr Aung. I came away knowing I had been dealt with professionally with a clear understanding of my next steps. I have been a patient at this surgery for many years and have always received first class treatment. Staff at the surgery always give their best in some very difficult circumstances.
