I am afraid that I cannot give them such a good rating. We bought our house here in rural Ireland in February and had the Property Crew come and do a list of things for us. One of the jobs was to fit a new mixer tap to the kitchen sink. All was good for a couple of months until the tap started dripping and leaking. I mailed the Property Crew a couple of times and, eventually, a plumber turned up and diagnosed a faulty tap. I was told that it would be replaced. Over the next several weeks I mailed a couple times asking for progress, with no response. I then tried ringing only to get a 'not available' message. I then tried the head office number. I explained the problem to 'Ed' who answered the phone and he told me to email in the details. This I did. I waited a couple of weeks, again no response, before ringing again. This time I was told that my mail was 'with senior management'. Another couple of weeks pass without response so I send a registered letter to Mr Paul Maguire, the managing director asking what he proposed doing about the faulty tap his company is responsible for replacing. That is several weeks ago and I still have not had any reply to any of my communications to the company. I now have a problem. Were I in the UK it would be easy to get the item replaced and then sue these peple through the Small Claims Court when they do not pay up. Sadly, we are now post-Brexit and the rules have changed. Do I just bite the bullet and replace the tap at my own expense? Or do I spend good money getting my solicitor to chase them? Not all your previous customers are feeling so wonderful about your company, Mr Maguire.
