L & M Healthcare Cherry Tree House

My father was only in Cherry Tree for 2 months and has sadly passed away. The care my father received could not be faulted. He was always warm and comfortable, clean and shaved. The staff were always approachable, honest and open about my fathers condition. All the staff from reception , administration, management, nursing and care staff showed such care and compassion, not only with my father but also with my 92 year old mother and our family. I cannot thank Val and her team enough for the care they gave. I would highly recommend Cherry Tree House to anyone who is looking for the best care possible for their relative.

Mum was recently in this home, she was only out of bed twice in the 10 days she was unfortunate to be in there. One visit I found her with a food bowl with food in resting on her chest whilst she was fast asleep. she has dementia and needs prompting to eat.. on 2 occasions other patients were pressing the buzzer I had to go to dining room where all staff on duty were just sat chatting.. one evening Mum wasnt well when a member of staff came to check on her and said they had been trying to contact us theyd had the dr out and prescribed antibiotics.. on checking both mine and my Dads phone there were no miss calls on either they were blatantly lying, that night she was rushed to A an E with a serious chest infection and dehydration.. thankfully she was not discharged back to this home.. avoid at all costs

I would strongly advise to any family thinking of putting their loved ones in this home not to! My Grandad died through nothing more than abuse and neglect. He lasted 27 days in the care of this nursing home there is nothing nursing or caring about this place. Cherry Tree Home needs shutting down and I would also strongly advise anybody reading this whos loved ones are in this home to move them immediately. My Grandad rotted to death in their care, do not allow your loved ones to spend the rest of their living days in this awful place.

I felt that I needed to write this review regarding Cherry Tree. This is in direct response to the damaging and negative reviews which I understand to be posted regarding management before Restrictions in 2020. i believe that the New manager Val and her staff at CherryTree provide my father with the very best of dementia care. Val and her dedicated team have been instrumental in caring and supporting my father through COVID providing love and reassurance for him as and when needed. Val and her team have been a lifeline for many of the residents who had no access to their loved ones and their families during lockdown, therefore supporting their mental health, keeping our loved ones safe from the virus. Val with the support of her team, has managed to turn Cherry Tree around from the negative reviews that were achieved before she started her role at Cherry Tree. I would highly recommend Cherry Tree
