I have had a bad experience contacting them, they are useless and fit for nothing but collect your money to pay their wages. Every letter I have received from them has been dated at least 6 days before it was delivered, and they always blame it on the Royal Mail. Every time my circumstances change, they change my council tax account number, so you could end up having multiple accounts for the same address and that's very confusing. To them, this works out better because they could summon you multiple times if you're late for payment adding an extra 77.50 charge to your bill for each account. Everything takes ages to process with them, they're unprofessional on the phone and absolutely useless on their online chat service, never mind their letters sent by post. They are there just to collect money to pay their wages, and serving the community is not their priority.

Currently challenging my CT, sent my 2nd letter by registered post. They marked it wrong address and return to sender. Cowardly is not the word.
