Ruth is an amazing teacher and has supported both of my children. Both have very different needs, one struggling with English and the other excelling in English but needing more finesse to achieve the grades deserved. Kip identifies and fills in the gaps that school lessons don't always have the time to do. I would highly recommend her and her team at Kip McGrath.

Over the last 8months with Kip McGrath Selby, we have seen our son flourish not only academically but emotionally. His self-belief and confidence have soared under your wing and we truly believe there has been fundamental changes in him. This confidence has enabled him to explore and try new tasks without hesitationfor us parents this has been a pleasure to see. At the start of the pandemic when home schooing started it become very apparent to us how much our then 8 year old was struggling with maths. Neither myself or my husband are very academic and we ourselves were struggling to help her. We found Ruth and her team at Kip mcGrath by a google search for tutors in the area and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made. It was online at first during lockdown and now Is at the centre. Ruth and her team are very supportive and very patient with my daughter which to me is very importantly. We regularly catch up on progress from parents evenings and school homework so that they can reinforce the stage/ subjects she is learning at school. We get feedback after every session and my daughters hard work is rewarded with certificates and prizes. I would recommend Kip McGrath to anyone for their child. The progress she is making is so reassuring even her school teachers have commented how much she is progressing.
