The Terrace at Oakley Court

Yesterday as soon we entered the hotel two ladies were sitting outside stopped us going inside. The reasons were 1 we are not resident in the hotel2 we ate not members of the hotel 3 we are no Soho club member We were so surprised. We plainly told that we are not welcome. In other words we are no rich enough to enjoy dri ks or meals there which we have enjoyed in the past. Very disheartened. Shame.. another devide between so called rich and common people

The experience was wonderful. The food was excellent and staff were attentive. The location of being near the Thames river elevates the dining experience and a walk around the ground rounds up the day.

Stunning place! Massive garden and Im amazed by the giant trees and the beautiful lake. The place is obviously well maintained. Love the table settings in the garden. The staff are friendly. Food is great and tasty.

It's a beautiful place, amazing ambiance. Food is generally decent (although i had a horrible experience which i'm sure a one in a million incident) Only reason for a 2 stars review is that there wasn't anyone in charge who could handle a difficult situation. I would have left The Terrace in a very different mood if the situation had handled by a manager with enthusiasm for hospitality.

Came for a friend's wedding anniversary celebrations and will definitely be visiting again. Food is fantastic, staff are attentive and the views from the tables are relaxing. Overall a lovely day out
