    I started gig rowing in February 2019 and had never rowed prior to this. I volunteered to compete in the London Great River Race, 21.6 miles, taking place in September 2019. I had done very little fitness training and with only 7 months to prepare, this was a daunting challenge! Jon was recommended to me and I started training with him in the April. He put a training plan together to suit my ability, took into account an old knee injury, worked me hard and prepared me well for the race. To this day, I cannot believe that I did it in 3 hrs 40 mins! Since then, my other achievements are competing in the World Pilot Gig Championships in 2022. And, I have been selected to row this year. He is very knowledgeable, professional and works hard to get the best out of you. I have achieved a level of fitness that I didn't think was possible at my age 63. I would definitely recommend Jon. Thank you Jon

    I have been training with Jon for the past 18 months. I do 4 classes a week with him. He is excellent, utterly professional and by far the best trainer/instructor I have trained with. His classes are varied & fun. Jon is an excellent motivator He gets good results, and the best out of his clients. I would highly recommend him.

    I started training with Jon back in 2015, when he lived locally to me. Sadly it had to stop when he relocated down to the coast. However, following covid he introduced a remote PT and training options to his customers. I am so pleased I can now train with him again. He really pushes me to achieve much more than I would push myself, and each session is a different mix of exercises to challenge and increase my fitness levels. In addition to the PT and classes hes also put together a training plan for me which is great to keep the fitness options varied throughout the week. Jon is also continuously checking my form in the exercises to mitigate any injuries, and this is not a problem over zoom either, hes well set up for this. I do have an existing knee and back niggle from time to time and he always ensures that the exercises arent going to cause me discomfort (apart from the regular aching muscles!) in the coming days. I would recommend Jon to any level of fitness looking for support to get started or a challenging programme.

    I highly recommend Jon as a personal fitness trainer. He is most professional and knowledgeable, warm hearted, full of fun and energising. That being said I don't always wake up on a Monday thinking - 'Great it's time for my cardio session!'!! I started online with him at the outset of lockdown, with the intention of returning to a local venue once we were able. Since then I have regularly participated in 3 sessions a week - cardio, flow and strength. Seeing the benefits of this - there is no way I will return to a local trainer. He has a whole range of classes to suit specific needs. I am 75yrs old in the 60+ group. You might picture this as the geriatric group. It's far from it. Some of us do have setbacks at times, knee operations etc, but Jon is excellent at maintaining the overall momentum of the group, whilst also tailoring it to individual needs. I know individuals of a range of ages who are trained in different groups by him, and clearly are as satisfied as I am.
