What a hidden gem. We had a short break here last minute so we could wind down and visit friends in Braunton. We stayed in Lodge 3. It was exceptionally clean and finished to high standard. It felt cosy and had a comfy bed with high quality linen. Lots of amazing original art adorns the walls. Weather didn't really permit the walks we had planned but in the 3 days we managed trips to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Saunton, Lynton and Lynmouth. We ate out at SQ and Siam Bistro which are both in walking distance, or take advantage of free parking after 6pm. Our host, Pete, was friendly and checked we had everything we needed. We also had a look at his amazing art in the gallery on site. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would love to return in the summer to see the meadow at its best!
