This place is a real gem and Sophie & Matt do so much to make their home as welcoming as possible. I only stayed for one night as abase for walking the SW Coastpath but would have been very happy to have stayed longer. Unusually for a B&B there is a basic cooking area so limited self-catering is possible.. The garden was an added attraction for me. The breakfast was more than adequate with the bonus of fresh produce and home-made preserves. The only drawback is the need to taker great care in parking because of the narrow road.

We booked a night at Silver Cottage following a walking holiday on the South West Coastal Path and before returning home. Sophie made our stay perfect. We were shown round the cottage and extensive garden, and then served a beautiful home made cream tea. The cottage was warm and very comfortable and after an excellent nights sleep we enjoyed a perfect continental breakfast. The cottage is well situated with a short walk into Braunton and beautiful views across the valley. Our only regret was that wed only booked one night!
