Sweet little store, old fashioned and good selection of gifts and snacks at probably better than average value. Lady seemed very pleasant. Interesting items on display with all kinds of local navigational history as you enter. Nice to have such a store on the waters edge! But, it does smell badly of stale smoke and the Aldi own branded foodstuffs being resold was a bit of a surprise

Came across the shop after walk along the Towpath upon entering the shop we said good afternoon to the lady serving she did not respond to us or put Eye To Eye Contact she went to the till area and looked out the window towards the locks still without saying anything at all so we decided to leave would not buy anything from such a person such a shame as could be such a nice shop but also smells like a charity shop.

As we entered the shop we said good afternoon to the lady serving who in return did not speak a word to us. As we browsed around she stood behind the counter and looked at the locks we both looked at each other and walked out and said we would not spend on money at a place like this.
