Delayed review due to personal circumstances. However we visited the old cow shed at pitt farm in mid June 2022. We cannot give this place enough stars. A truly exceptional self catering cottage. From the moment we arrived it oozed pure quality. A basket of local goodies and an extra one for the dog were a bonus. Fantastically equipped with modern appliances (better than we have at home even!) Immaculately clean. The bedrooms were fantastic. Fully equipped and lovely patio area. Bbq was brilliant and they have almost converted me to gas bbq's with the quality of the webber one supplied. The owners (andrew and jo) were extremely welcoming and very informative. The sort of people you would happily make life long friends with. It's ideally placed for Branscombe 2 minutes walk from an excellent pub and 5 minutes drive from another at the other end of the village. Also perfectly placed for east devon and west dorset with Sidmouth and lyme regis nearby. Within an hour of national parks and also excellent dog walking with great views nearby.We cannot recommend highly enough. We will absolutely be booking to return as soon as we can.

This lodge was in an idyllic place. Kept to a high standard. Bed linen and towels beautiful! Walk in shower/wet room, I requested safety handles, and a stool to sit on, which was provided immediately. There was a lovely welcome basket not just for us but also for the dog. (Charlie dog was impressed) there was a closed in garden which had tables and chairs, and a b/q. The views of the field, trees and being able to listen to a variety of birds, even spotted a deer in the field, was in a very relaxed setting. Would definitely return. Owners were very pleasant and helpful.
