        Wage structure needs looking at by an archeologist its so old. 600 before tax/ni etc a week for class 1 driver max hours, no overtime payments.

        Drove for this firm for 4 days as a HGV 1 tramper. Multi drop to building sites that you can only get a rigid in . They expect you to sleep in lay-bys or industrial areas. They wont pay for parking in secure truck stops. Dont like you using tolls. Your on a salary rate of 600 per week which is 120 per day. Night out are 25 . They take on newly qualified drivers because experienced drivers wont put up with the working conditions Ive got 30 + years experience and wont sleep in lay-bys . If your parked up for the night a word of advice. Go to a toilet before you do. Otherwise youll have to use the lay-bys or field .
