Van was top condition, really easy to use and we had an amazing experience in wales, and the support was absolutely on point too, always available on WhatsApp and super friendly tips.

Great service providing a taste of van life or a great mobile alternative to see the countryside

This is the third time holidaying with Campers&Kit. We had an amazing 4-day trip in the ROMER van. Perfect size for myself, husband and our 18-month daughter (with room to spare). The van was very clean and came supplied with all the necessities needed for the trip (cups, cutlery, pans, coffee, tea etc.) James was extremely helpful and patient at pick-up and drop-off. We can't wait for our next trip! Thank you :)

We hired the Roamer and took it to Cornwall for a week with our two sons. As they are in their twenties had their own pop up tent. That said families with young children could easily all sleep in the van. It was brilliantly kitted out and made our holiday so fantastic. A fridge, freezer, stored water and hob that used the diesel from the van to operate made cooking etc so easy. Spotless throughout and could not recommend it enough. Thank you Campers & Kit!!

We used Campers & Kit for our holiday this September. Overall, the van provided shelter from a very rainy week and enabled us to visit good friends. Unfortunately there was a fault with the van roof and we had to end our holiday 2 days early. I cannot fault James for his availability - when we called to ask what to do, he was responsive and helpful. However, it might be helpful for others to note before they book that there is a 1000 deposit exchanged when you pick up the van (detailed in the T&Cs). This is equal to the excess on the insurance, so anything not covered is your responsibility to pay if it happens whilst you are away: "The insurance only covers damage to the exterior of the campervan in the event of any accident with a 3rd party or property and excludes roof damage which is deemed as wilful negligence. Interior furniture and fittings as well as any additional item included under the terms of the Rental Agreement are not covered for any loss or damage, these items will be charged at a cost of replacement and any related costs associated with the replacement." (From T&Cs on website) James kindly only charged for the cost of parts, but it's worth noting any damage not covered by insurance could cost up to 1000. Other costs we incurred were buying items that were advertised as 'inclusive': tea towels, lighter, thermos and toilet roll (fairy lights were also on the list, but we didn't think these were necessary to buy!) - maybe their list just needs updating? We bought plastic cutlery because the bamboo cutlery was broken and a little dirty. We were also sent off without a full gas cannister (also on advertised 'inclusive list'), but because it was working when we left, we weren't to know! Unfortunately, we came away disappointed. Some things could have been avoided if we were more van-savvy (like if we had checked the gas bottle was full before we left - we thought that was guaranteed!). 2 stars is because we wouldn't repeat the experience.
