Amazing food. No matter who is there, it is friends. We stayed and realized we should have stayed longer. This is my ideal place.

Recently had dinner here with my boyfriend during a trip to the New Forest. Would highly recommend going to this pub for food if youre staying in the area. Even though they were unfortunately understaffed when we were there, the lovely lady doing all front of house stuff was excellent. The service was still great and the food was really good quality and delicious. Both my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and agreed that it was the best meal of our trip.

We recently visited this lovely Greene King pub and was immediately taken aback by its idyllic location. The building itself exudes character and adds to the overall charm of the place. The food was definitely a highlight of the experience, with everything we ordered being well-prepared and delicious. While it was slightly more expensive than the average pub, I believe the quality of the food more than made up for it. The service was exceptional, especially considering we visited on a busy bank holiday weekend. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our meal. One of the things I appreciated most about the pub was the outside play area, which was perfect for children of all ages. It was well-maintained and offered plenty of space for kids to run around and play, giving parents the chance to relax and enjoy their meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting. Despite the slightly higher prices, the quality of the food and excellent service more than make up for it. And with a fantastic play area for the kids, it's the perfect spot for a family outing.

Lovely food & drinks. My son enjoyed the play area & the little fairy garden and a nice touch being able to buy a fairy door to decorate. But wow the staff here are so miserable, literally bickering over pens right in front of us, embarrassing really. Would like to give more stars for the nice food we had but the staff ruined it by being so miserable.
