Albury Nursery

A wonderful preschool with excellent staff and provision!

This is a little gem of a nursery that came recommended by another local mum. My son went here for 2 years and absolutely loved it! We saw how he progressed and developed in every area of learning over the years he spent here. As a parent, I loved the structure and organisation of the learning process which was play based yet educational - there is a term plan with an overriding theme and a weekly plan which corresponds with the main theme. My son has taken part in Christmas plays and Easter shows, made barfi (for Diwali) and gingerbread cookies (for Christmas), learnt Italian and French songs (while learning about the different countries) and is generally school ready in terms of his numbers and phonics - all of which is testament to the wonderful staff and the warm nursery setting. Highly recommended if you like structure and want your child to blend into primary school effortlessly. And you can be sure that theres plenty of fun involved!

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery, my daughter attended for two years and loved every minute of it. The staff are great and they really helped my daughters self confidence grow during her time there. She also made so many lovely friends. The nursery are great with getting the kids to try new things and really teach them about the world around them. With themed weeks about other cultures with Diwali and Chinese New year lessons for example or learning about other countries, different seasons or nature. They also have a great PE sessions at different times during the term that my daughter loved. Another highlight are the various performances prepared throughout the year for the parents for things like Christmas, Mother's Day and Easter.
