        We booked the entire Mad Dogs and Vintage Vans site for a friends 40th birthday celebration. 10 adults, 7 children and 2 well behaved dogs had the most amazing long weekend. The site and the caravans are simply stunning. The attention to detail is beautiful and Jo is a wonderful host. Sitting around the camp fire catching up, drinking wine and celebrating will remain with me for a long time.

        We have just returned from a family holiday, 2 adults and 2 children, over the August heatwave, staying in the van called Gertie. This was an altogether fantastic experience - given the beautiful weather, at times we were describing it as idyllic. The location has a stunning view, the site itself is beautiful, and the "glamping" is spot-on as it combines a return to nature with a few stylish comforts added in. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We found much more to do in the Wye Valley / Forest of Dean than we could fit into the time available. Would highly recommend and we plan to return.
