Stunning, a real hidden gem. An attractive village church in a pleasant village setting, the real treasure lies inside. Completed in 1864 in the Victorian Gothic revival style, the interior is spectacularly decorated, with magnificent colours and details adorning the chancel. The oak screen is beautifully finished, the walls of the nave bear imagery of fish in a net from the Sea of Galilee; there are fine details to appreciate everywhere you look. The church is open to visitors every day from 9am until dusk, and was very peaceful when I visited on a Saturday evening.

This church is well worth a visit just to see the wall art, been here a few times and it has been open.

So quiet and peaceful. A bit difficult to get to if you can't walk far as there is nowhere to park and it's difficult to turn round

Beautiful old church situated in a glorious village that is like walking back in time. All the houses are full of character and surround the village duck pond. The church has a lovely old wall surrpund8ng the old churchyard and the church, with the New churchyard being accessed via a nearby pathway.
