Beautiful pub food and service was spot on. Was out for the day googled local pubs and so glad we found this place. Great find

Sadly, this place has declined since we ate here a few years ago. My partner even wondered if it had changed ownership and now I can see that is the case. Last time, service was top notch and the food was incredible. This time, the waiters were mostly under-trained kids (not their fault) with a slightly unfriendly manager, and the food (sausages and fish cakes) seemed pre-prepared / straight out the fridge, and not that great. It's still a lovely pub worth visiting but here's hoping they can get the food and service back to where it was.
