First visit here and it feels like it's struggling compared to other garden centres. Bought a few Veggie plants.

We went on Saturday morning. There were no other customers, the 2 staff were polite and said hello, that was the best point. Disorganised, untidy, few plants considering it is now spring and a main planting time. I'm aware now that it is up for sale and that some reorganisation was supposedly taking place, but there was no evidence of this. We saw no-one in the nursery section at all, whereas there always used to be someone tending plants etc. There were a lot of trip hazards so health and safety not high on the agenda with the owners. Also the caf wasn't open. We had a drive of about 30 minutes to go there as it used to be a really good place to visit. We won't be going back. There are great Garden centres elsewhere; ACW, Woodbank especially. I have since read other reviews and I think the owner's reply to criticism sums up the ethos of this business. Save yourself the drive.

Use to love having a breakfast here, then just did breakfast sandwiches ( the beacon sandwich was fantastic ) and visited today, no hot sandwiches at all. Friendly staff but like other reviews say just needs a update.

Nice range and so on, but could do with a hard-to-kill-plants-for-tiny-gardens-that-don't-get-any-sun section though.
