Good to see that the church 'helpers' always keep the small front garden well stocked and cared for.

Was not very happy with the path into the church, reason being the weather was cold on the day we attended, the pathway into the church had frozen like lack icy patches and I was struggling with my 93 year old mother, it was just luck that we didn't slip and hurt our self's, on entering the church we didn't have a clue where we were supposed to go some man directed us towards a hall where they were selling hot drinks, all my mother wanted to do was go into the church hall where her Great granson was playing in the Stockport brass band, on the whole it was badly organised, we were told we had to wait outside the hall while the band was setting up, the place was packed with confused people, we eventually were allowed in the hall and really enjoyed the rest of the day. On the way out I noticed a bag of grit salt at the side of church path which had not been opened.
