Not rented a cottage but have stayed on the CL caravan site attached. The whole site is wonderful and the owners are very friendly. The Shepherds Huts look awesome and there are so many nice walks for the dog. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our waning summer break to Suffolk in the Shepherds Huts at Bunkers Hill Farm! Everything we needed to cook, chill and enjoy our stay, with a great local environment to walk and run in. We even did a spot of yoga in the semi-private long grass around the huts which was a fantastic feature! The huts are suitably cosy. The kitchen is well functioned such that we were able to have cooked breakfasts and even make ramen broth, noodles and veg for dinner on our last night! Love that there's a standard toilet and shower available to use, too. Permissive bridleways around the farm made it a breeze to get to the local Fox Inn pub for some of the best pub food we'd all had in a long time!

Absolutely loved staying for a long weekend in one of the shepherd huts. The hut was perfectly equipped and so cosy, with more than enough floor space for our 27kg dog to stretch out and be comfy at night. The location was very peaceful but brilliantly situated as a base to explore the local area, with the coast only a little drive away. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if the hut areas had a little fencing around them so we could let the dog have a bit more freedom, but he seemed happy enough tethered to the hammock post, and probably the fences would spoil the nature of the site. There are miles and miles of off-lead walks available right on the site's doorstep, so no issues there. The hosts were great and welcomed us warmly. Will definitely be back for a longer stay soon.
