        Excellent site. Great location. Can get bus into Keswick 100yds from site. Two pubs and restaurant in village all excellent. Try the steak and ale pie in the Coledale Inn. Absolutely exceptional. Recommended.

        Lovely site, very quiet even though many of the pitches were taken. Beautiful views (obviously!) and we walked a different route every day! The lodge was very well equipped generally, but it is always a bit irritating when there are only 4 plates or spoons or whatever and nothing left over for serving food etc. But maybe most people go to the excellent Royal Oak instead of cooking themselves. We will have to try that on our next visit, which we are definitely planning
