Prezzo Italian Restaurant Braintree

Went for a meal with the family and the restaurant was not busy. Everything started well we were given the menus and ordered the food however thats where everything went downhill. The service was poor and everything took forever. We finished our meals which I would say was delicious and their calamari has really improved after we were waiting to get our desserts however the employees kept looking at our direction and walking past or they would make eye contact and look away. This kept going for more than half an hour and we literally had to get up and get the attention of someone since they all acted like we were invisible. We finally managed to get hold of someone and even then the dessert took more time to come that we were actually thinking of just walking out because they cant be serious. I have been here before but this time the service is the worst. Not in a rush to come back anytime soon. Kid-friendliness: Nonexistent

Food was great but when I went to pay card wouldn't work and they wouldn't take cash. My family paid for me very embarrassing. My card worked at the cinema, won't be returning to Prezzos in Braintree unless they will accept cash as a back up!!!!!!

You'll be waiting forever for someone to take your order despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The service from the manager is really rude, she will ignore any requests you make despite saying 'yes that's fine' in the first place. They don't deal well with allergies. I wouldn't recommend and won't be returning. If you work in the hospitality industry you should at least be polite to customers.
