My son goes to this nursery. He is in the Rainbow Room. He is very happy here, and the nursery teachers (who are called Aunties) are absolutely fantastic. Your child is given an aunty who is the main carer and contact for your child (although every aunty works together in the rooms). Our aunty is Sarah. Each week you are given a PowerPoint of what activities your child will be doing, which includes what they are learning, what snacks will be given and what the aim of the learning will be. There are lots of activities they do, and most of the time each week has a theme based on what is going on with various things in day to day life (ie. Book week, Easter, Chinese new year, Christmas etc) They also encourage your children to engage in what they have learnt at home, recently they have learnt about the weather, so he took home a weather dial he made and each morning identify the weather. My son is picking so much up, and it's really helped with his socialising skills and each week we are amazed with the new abilities he is learning. You can follow your child's progress on Tapestry app which is great as you can see videos and pictures of your kid in the nursery environment. My son is also neuro-diverse, and the aunties have been absolutely fantastic in helping my son hit milestones, and we all have regular catch ups to check in on how he is progressing. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

This is by far the best nursery for our child and ourselves as parents, we arranged a fair few to go visit after looking at all their info online and Ofsted reports, none felt quite right, they all are nice enough in their way but didn't have it all in terms of what we wanted as an environment away from home for us. As first time parents what we wanted was one we felt 1000% reassured by, whilst having that 'Miss Honey' from Matilda vibe, and not too far from home. Amazingly one we overlooked was Christchurch until someone we knew recommended it, so we went down to view and I can't stress how immediately at ease and reassured we felt, it was what we were looking for in a nursery and the way in which the staff are 'Aunties' to the children who attend there is really special and you see that in the immediate and positive bond the children have with each auntie, they have a keyworker assigned to them but can comfortably move around for support and care from any of the 'Aunties' who happen to be there. The space is big enough with a small outside area which is cleverly used to maximise it's potential but that doesn't stop the nursery as they make the most of little outings and other places to visit outside for their outdoor time. The classes aren't oversubscribed (another win in our book!), it's a clean, welcoming environment, which is based in a church hall but there is no religious influence other than the odd bake sale or similar invite which is just part of being a community, and is very separate from the pre-school areas in use, there are 3x rooms for different age groups you have Raindrops room, Rainbow room, and then Sunshine room for those older just before they head off to their first year's at school, they accept the 15 and 30 hrs free government funding for childcare places at the nursery and are willing to help assist with that if needed and if your child is yet to be potty trained do not worry as the Aunties can help with that transition and are very understanding of the different stages and pace each child is at/approaching. The 'Aunties' all have a great rapport with the children in their care, as well as their own unique skills and training which really creates a diverse, capable and cohesive team who all bring something to their workplace and can utilise to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of each child individually and as a group. The nursery even has their own FB page and new website that has just been launched which is so easy and informative to use! On FB they have their own market too which is a lovely extra and many events held throughout the year. Claire the manager is very on the ball and understanding, and has the running of the nursery in good order with the support of the 'Aunties', very responsive to any queries be it in person, email or by telephone. Staff will happily spend the time they can to talk with you, particularly when you collect your child/children advise how their day has been, as well as send home a little update sheet of how the day went for your little one as an overview, you of course have the Tapestry app too where both staff and parent alike can upload photos and information on what activities the children have enjoyed as well as any trips out and the occasional home work in the sense of continuing at home particularly over half term breaks what they have been working on, the children all seem to get on well too and my little one has made lots of friends here and often speaks of what they have been doing with her classmates and 'Aunties', brings home lots of their artwork and makes, lots of dancing, singing, outdoor play, tuff tray activities, Disco dough playing which has gone down well with the children and role play and so on! There is a steady amount of (not too much or too little) in year reviews with the nursery and your child's keyworker to review their progress and a good link with the health visitors when they are needed.
